New Yorker Pizza Recipe
Cooked to perfection in our EK4923 Pizza Oven
Ingredients
245g tomato pizza sauce
140g mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
115g Sicilian style sausage
55g ricotta cheese 30g pepperoni, sliced
5 roasted garlic cloves
Oil from roasted garlic cloves
Method
Step 1: Roll the dough out until it is about 12 inches wide, then add the passata to the middle of the pizza and spread out evenly using the back of a spoon
Step 2: Arrange the mozzarella on top, 6 slices around the outside and 1 slice in the centre, leaving a 2 ½ inch border around the edge
Step 3: Arrange the pepperoni slices, sausage slices, and ricotta cheese evenly
Step 4: Scatter the garlic cloves on top and drizzle with some of the garlic oil
Step 5: Slide the pizza onto the pizza stone and bake the pizza for one minute or until the pizza crust is browned, rotating it 180 ° halfway through cooking
Step 6: Once cooked, remove from the pizza oven and finish with a dusting of oregano, parmesan and a drizzle of garlic oil
